Terms of service

This agreement

These terms are between you, the Shopify merchant who installs Shapewiz, and IT Brain, who makes it. By installing or using Shapewiz you agree to them. Shopify’s own terms also apply to your store and to apps from the Shopify App Store.

The service

Shapewiz adds size charts and a size finder, the Fit Finder, to your product pages, and lets you manage them in your Shopify admin. What each plan includes is listed on the pricing page.

Your store and your account

• You need a Shopify store to use Shapewiz, and you’re responsible for who has access to your Shopify admin.
• Keep your charts and products up to date. Shoppers see what you set.

Sizes and your charts

• The size a shopper gets is a suggestion, worked out from your size chart and the answers the shopper gives. It isn’t a guarantee of fit.
• You’re responsible for the numbers in your charts, and for your own returns and exchange policy. Show shoppers any terms of your own on your store.
• Sales, returns and exchanges are between you and your shoppers.
• Our privacy policy explains what Shapewiz stores for you and about your shoppers.

Price and billing

• Shapewiz has a Free plan and paid monthly plans, listed on the pricing page.
• Every charge goes through Shopify’s billing and appears on your Shopify bill. Shopify shows you the price before you approve it, and you’re never charged for a plan you haven’t chosen.
• You can change or cancel a plan at any time, from the app’s Plan page. We don’t refund part of a billing period, except where the law says we must.
• If we change a plan’s price, we’ll tell you in the app beforehand.

Sessions and fair use

• Each plan has a number of Fit Finder sessions a month. A session is one shopper’s browser using the size finder in a calendar month, however many products they size.
• Past a limit nothing breaks. The finder keeps working for your shoppers, and you see a note in the app and a suggestion for the next plan.
• The AI Chart Reader reads up to your plan’s number of charts each month. “Unlimited” on Pro means within fair use: 150,000 Fit Finder sessions and 300 AI Chart Reader charts a month.
• Don’t use Shapewiz for anything illegal. Don’t try to break, overload or get around the app’s limits, or reach other stores’ data. We may suspend an account that does, and we’ll tell you why.

Your data

• Your data stays yours. From the Starter plan, you can export your charts at any time.
• We use it only to run Shapewiz for you, as our privacy policy explains.
• If you uninstall the app, your data is deleted 48 hours later, as Shopify requires. Export your charts first if you want to keep them.

Availability and changes

• We work to keep Shapewiz running and fix problems quickly, but we can’t promise it will never be unavailable.
• We’ll keep improving the app. If we remove a feature you rely on or change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll tell you in the app beforehand.

Responsibility

We’re responsible for providing Shapewiz with reasonable care. We’re not responsible for losses we couldn’t reasonably have foreseen, for your dealings with your shoppers, for the fit of what they buy, or for problems caused by Shopify, your theme, other apps or the services listed in our privacy policy. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for Shapewiz in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using Shapewiz at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop providing it to a store that breaks these terms, after telling you why, or to everyone, with at least 30 days’ notice.
